Journey on Deadly Kishtwar - Killar Road

I am an engineer and serve in Govt. of Maharashtra. I am a travel enthusiast. I along with my brother Santosh and friends Ganesh & Dipak, do road trips to Himalaya. We choose places which are adventurous and divinely beautiful. This is our second road trip to Ladakh. We visited Ladakh, Spiti Valley, Sikkim - Bhutan. This time we were looking for something more adventurous. This road trip was started from Pune. In fact I was picked up from from my office at Navi Mumbai ! Said good bye to my Boss (Secretary of the Dept.) and left for adventurous journey of Kishtwar - Killar Road and Ladakh. This time we took little strange route to reach Leh. We did not go to Manali or Srinagar ! We went to Kishtwar ! While going to Kishtwar we went via Khajjiar. Very beautiful place. Our itinerary in brief was Pune - overnight - Nimrana (Rajsthan) - Khajjiar - Bhaderwah - Killar - Keylong - Leh (3 nights) - Chumthang - Hanley - Tso Moriri to Sarchu - Manali - Nimrana - Pune. From Khajjiar, we went Bhaderwah via Padri Pass. We supposed to have halt at Kishtwar but we were late, therefore we had to stay at Bhaderwah. During this road trip we visited Khajjiar, Padri Pass, Kishtwar - KIllar Road, Pangi Valley, Lahaul, Leh - Manali Highway, Alchi, Chumthang, Hanley, Tso Moriri, Tso Kar. Journey on Manali - Leh highway is as usual mesmerizing. And journey to Hanle - Tso Moriri take us in different world ! Journey on Kishtwar - Killar road was like dreams come true. This road is considered to be one of the very deadliest road on earth. And to understand, why it is said so, one must travel on this road. This video is of day 4 of our tour.
