Life History of Baba Rang Ali Sarkar (RA) According to local historical accounts, Baba Rang Ali Sarkar (RA) was born in Jalandhar District, East Punjab (present-day India). His spiritual mentor (Peer) was Syed Mehndi Hussain Shah, who also belonged to the same region. Following the Partition of the Indian subcontinent in 1947, his Peer advised him to migrate to Pakistan along with a Syed family whose daughter had been married and was relocating there. Baba Rang Ali Sarkar accompanied them and eventually settled in Chak No. 84 JB, Sarshameer, District Faisalabad, where he spent the remaining years of his life. After his passing, he was laid to rest in the same village, and his shrine continues to attract visitors and devotees. Baba Rang Ali Sarkar (RA) was widely respected for his humility, simplicity, and spiritual devotion. He lived the life of a true dervish, remaining detached from worldly wealth and material possessions. During his later years, he travelled in a traditional bullock cart. Devotees often placed bread, fruits, dry fruits, and money into his cart as offerings, but he never kept anything for himself. Instead, he distributed everything among the poor and those gathered around him, reflecting his generosity and compassion.
