Yamaha MU-2000 Sound Module Demo. XG , Roland GS , General Midi , Subscribe #MIDI #mu2000 #yamaha
The Yamaha MU-series is a line of sound modules built by Yamaha. The sound modules were commonly used when computers had slower processors. The computer could send MIDI commands to the sound module, acting as an external sound generation device. Later MU sound modules feature A/D inputs that allow direct input from microphones and guitars. Thanks to Venessa for helping me get this module. Similar to the Roland Sound Canvas seen in the video and the mighty MT-32. These are a must have sound modules for Retro DOS, WINDOWS, Apple, Amiga, and other retro computers. This is capable of doing XG Midi Formats, General Midi, General Midi 2 and Roland GS support. C/M mode offers limited compatibility with the Roland MT-32 and the CM-32L. Have not tried this yet. Sit back and grab a beverage for Skip's Happy Hour! @Vanessaira-Retro Please check her channle out.
