A Rainy Hike to the Lake ~ Toktogul, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬

I decided to break up what would have been a very long journey between Bishkek and osh by stopping in the small town of toktogul. The main reason I wanted to go there was to see the toktogul reservoir - I’d heard it was really beautiful and there was some good hiking to be found. I booked two nights, but unfortunately the weather was pretty bad on both of those days! I really didn’t want it to be a wasted journey though and I really wanted to see the lake, so I borrowed an umbrella and hiked in the rain.
