Have you ever heard of a temple called Ninja Temple? Ninja Temple is a nickname; its official name is Myoryuji. It is a Nichiren sect temple located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Although it looks like an ordinary temple from the outside, inside it is equipped with various devices to deceive enemies, such as hidden staircases, hidden rooms, pitfalls, watchtowers, and underground passages leading to Kanazawa Castle, and a guide will show you around the maze-like interior. There were never any actual ninjas there, and it came to be called Ninja Temple because of the architectural style with these devices.
