Washing Machine F06 Error Code Hotpoint Indesit Door won't Open. I started a washing cycle on the Hotpoint Aquarius Washing machine and then mid cycle it stopped with a horrible burning electrical sulfur smell and Error Code F06 and the Hotpoint Washing machine door could not be opened. On this model F06 indicates Hotpoint washing machine door stuck. This Hotpoint F06 error procedure should also be the same for the Indesit F06 error code and Whirlpool F06 error code. In this video I will show you what I did to fix the F06 Washing Machine fault. The 1st two steps I show you are the easiest and simplest and will work most of the time. If these first two methods do not work I will then show you some other ways for the Hotpoint Washing Machine Door release. You may have a fault with the washing machine handle\lever which can be replaced. With ours it was 7-8 years old and was at the end of it's useful life so it was time to cut it loose and get a new Washing Machine. Avoid a call out and save MONEY by fixing it yourself.
