One-Star Tour [No Savestates]

So let me say all the positive things first before going on a rant about my massive skill issues :) This level is pretty dang fun, a lot of cool jumps, things never drag on too long and the pacing feels great, maybe a bit too many jumps on slippery slopes but that's really my only complaint with the actual level, it's genuinely a really fun well designed level. Now, for the skill issue part, first of I should mentioned this is not my normal route, this was one of those typical "I just wanna switch it up cause I'm going insane" routes that, by some miracle, got the star, the usual route is doing the 2 shorter paths at spawn first and then the big path, instead of big path first. My first, and honestly second, day of grinding this star was pretty much completely wasted, it took me way too long to realize that the jump at 8:39 is WAY easier the, what I assume to be, intended way, than the slide kick I was initially doing. the slide kick by all means LOOKS like it should be easier, but Mario very frequently just, bonks on nothing, like I have no clue what he bonks on, but that happens insanely often with the slide kick, but practically never with the butt slide, so my first and most of my second day of attempts was 90% dying to that jump. Then when I eventually figured out that the butt slide was way more consistent, the star looked like it was gonna go way better, except then I just, went to choke city, I am seriously sick of how often I choke hard stars these days. Got multiple deaths on the red at 7:24. which, with my normal route, was the 7th red and also honestly the last jump in the star I'd realistically die to, and also got 2 deaths to the triple jump dive a bit before this. On top of that I had a few annoying chokes attempts where I did this route as well, most notably an accidental firsty on the wallkick at 10:45. It's really sad that things just ended up going so badly cause this really is a great star, and I feel like such a cry baby for letting these chokes get to me but I'm just so done with the constant choking, there was a time where I actively praised myself for rarely choking at the end of hard stars, and ever since I said that out loud the universe has just been like "haha bet" Romhack made by SirNoCancel Download link : https://romhacking.com/hack/one-star-...
