[TAS] Carrier Air Wing (Pacifist, F-18 Hornet, Highest Difficulty, Arcade) [TAS]

NOTE: In this game, I will be forcing the bosses to retreat. They will fight for two minutes or more before retreating or exploding, and they usually repeat the same attack pattern once and again. Changing your position and distance, or not moving at all, discovers their AI and reactions, which I wanted to show. Feel free to skip the bossfights if you find them long. Also, please use timestamps to find missions and items at your will. I hope you enjoy watching this video at least as much as I did creating it. Thank you! Developer: Capcom Publisher: Capcom Year: 1990 Genre: Scrolling shooter The 1990s was a decade of great change marked by growing friendships between old enemies and never before seen levels of co-operation between powerful nations of the world. However, in 1999, using new weapons designed in secrecy, the Middle Eastern country of Rabu threatened to destroy this fragile peace, striking Tokyo with it's many weapons. The Americans decide to fight back against Rabu, and the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) slips out to sea carrying three of the finest Navy fighter pilots in the world, launching them on a campaign to remove the threat of Rabu and bring peace and freedom back to the world. Carrier Air Wing, released in Japan as U.S. Navy, is a 1990 side-scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Capcom for arcades. It is the spiritual successor to U.N. Squadron, which was released in the previous year. Other ideas carried over from U.N. Squadron include the shop, which allows players to buy weapon and shield upgrades for their jet fighter between stages, and the energy bar, which is replaced by a "fuel bar" which starts full at the start of each stage and decreases as time passes with some fuel lost each time the plane is damaged. 00:00 - Start 01:14 - Stage 1 02:17 - Boss 1 04:25 - Boss 1 retreats 04:57 - Stage 2 05:59 - Points Item 07:07 - Boss 2 09:10 - Boss 2 left behind 09:35 - Stage 3 10:26 - Points Items (2) 11:33 - Points Item 12:47 - Boss 3 15:20 - Boss 3 left behind 15:41 - Stage 4 18:39 - Boss 4 20:58 - Boss 4 left behind 21:30 - Stage 5 and Points Item 22:58 - Boss 5 25:00 - Boss 5 retreats 25:31 - Stage 6 25:50 - Points Item 28:35 - Boss 6 33:29 - Boss 6 left behind 33:51 - Stage 7 35:34 - Points Item 36:02 - Boss 7 38:17 - Boss 7 retreats 38:48 - Stage 8 39:07 - Points Item 42:01 - Train engine self-destructs 42:30 - Boss 8 44:28 - Boss 8 left behind 45:02 - Stage 9 45:12 - Points Item 47:33 - Dome self-destructs 49:42 - Fuel Item 50:20 - Boss 9 53:19 - Boss 9 self-destructs 53:50 - Stage 10 54:19 - First set of defenses self-destruct 54:48 - Second set of defenses self-destruct 55:25 - Phase 1 Side rocket 1 detaches 55:55 - Phase 2 Side rocket 2 detaches 56:35 - Rocket phase 2 self destructs 57:13 - Fuel Item; Third set of defenses self-destruct, Rocket phase 2 detaches 59:25 - Rocket phase 3 self-destructs 1:01:09 - Shuttle self-destructs 1:01:30 - Satellite activates lasers 1:04:17 - Satellite self-destructs 1:04:24 - End (The bad one, for some reason)
