A flower that hasn't been planted can't be watered. A child that hasn't been born can't grow. Likewise, no one can grow in faith without first experiencing spiritual rebirth. Rebirth is the beginning of our life as Christians. Experiencing it is absolutely essential. After having this experience, one should grow in faith. When a child is born, we expect it to grow. A baby is regularly weighed and measured to ensure its healthy development. Likewise, a Christian should develop spiritually. What constitutes healthy development? How can I tell if I've grown in faith?
