How to apply a Clear Patch to protect your #CGMsensor in 5 easy steps Step 1: 00:05 Preparation. Remove hair from the area around your sensor. Loosen or remove clothing to access your sensor. Clean and dry skin, removing oils and moisturisers, with Skin Glee. Remember to allow 2 hours before showering or physical activity. For extra grip prepare the area with Skin Glu Step 2: 00:28 Select a patch Select a transparent second skin patch and a non-stick disc from the pouch Step 3: 00:37 Application Peel off the large white backing paper to reveal the adhesive surface. Be sure to avoid stretching or folding the patch onto itself. Place the non-stick disc in the centre of the patch Align not-stick disc with CGM sensor Gently smooth down the adhesive side to the skin – ensuring the patch is adequately covering the device Peel the second half and press to the skin in a smooth motion. Gently smooth to ensure all adhesive is sticking to the skin before peeling and removing the clear outer film Step 4: 01:10 Whilst rubbing the whole patch down find the break in the blue on the outer films. Gently pry, peel and remove one clear outer film side. Repeat the process with the second half until you are left with a transparent second skin patch securing your sensor.
