Rupert Grint spent over a decade of his life portraying Ron Weasley for the whole world - and the experience of it was something he’s carried with him and probably will forever. From the very first day, the young actor felt right at home, sharing loads of similarities with his character, from being a natural red-headed to having some trouble when it came to wielding a wand! The Hogwarts magic struck the actor the moment he walked into the Great Hall - incredible practical effects and a real feast surrounding him made for a pretty special moment. In the early days, Rupert Grint was caught drawing a not-so-flattering picture of Alan Rickman and the Snape actor caught a peek of it - their relationship was definitely affected by it! Grint pulled yet another stunt when he got his hands on a label maker and stuck Robbie Coltrane with a sneaky message - but did he get caught in the end? The Ron Weasley actor was notorious for corpsing on set and ruining complete takes because he was laughing so much. In one case it was so bad that a moment had to be completely cut from the scene because the actor just couldn’t complete a solid take! The later films brought about more stunts and to make those a bit easier, a special seat was made for the actor to use - but that didn’t mean the experience was comfortable. The final film was full of emotion, from losing one of the Weasleys to his epic kiss with co-star and friend Emma Watson to witnessing the transformation into an older man before his very eyes for the epilog of the film.
