Daniela Alfinito über die unterschiedlichen Welten, in denen sie sich bewegt

"Music is music, work is work. Both involve people and are something very, very beautiful." Daniela Alfinito has done it for the third time, reaching number 1 in the German charts with her latest album. "It's an incredibly amazing feeling. After being in the music scene for so long, you dream of being in the charts when you start out like this. Even if it's only for two weeks and then I'm dropped out again." Success was practically predestined for her – as a child, she accompanied her father, one half of the duo "Die Amigos," to concerts and got a taste of the stage: "Then you get a nod from Dad up on stage, and then you run up and sing with him into a microphone. For me as a little girl, that was absolutely fantastic." Despite this, the successful singer still considers music just a hobby. Her main job is her dream job as a geriatric nurse. "It's a wonderful feeling to be there for people, to hear their life stories, simply to talk with them, to sit with them when they're sad. Or even to accompany them through the dying process." After a school internship, she knew at the age of 14 that her calling wasn't pop music, but geriatric nursing, and that hasn't changed to this day. "From Monday to Thursday I'm at the senior center. And Friday, Saturday, Sunday I'm on stage."
