When playing the piano, it's essential to feel naturalness and ease in your arm motions, through arm weight and weight transfer. This video is about the concepts of arm weight and weight transfer as applied to piano technique. The video has three parts: first I explain the concept of weight transfer, then I demonstrate weight transfer in action, and I finish with some exercises to help you get started with weight transfer in your own playing.
