At a GSR of 60 (at the time of recording), I’m buying *equal values of gold and silver*. If I already had a large silver position, I’d consider converting *10% into gold*. The key idea? 👉 Buy silver when it’s cheap relative to gold. 👉 Swap for gold as silver strengthens. 👉 Build more ounces of gold over time without adding extra capital. Simple shifts in the ratio can dramatically change how much gold you ultimately own. 💡 Why This Matters During the last bull cycle in 2011, the GSR bottomed around 32. Some analysts believe this cycle could push it below 20… maybe even as low as 10. If you sell too early, you might leave a lot of gold on the table. Patience and gradual rebalancing can make a huge difference in long-term wealth preservation. ⚠️ Don’t Forget the “Real” GSR Most people quote the spot ratio from major exchanges like London Bullion Market Association and COMEX. But everyday stackers don’t buy at spot. Premiums, VAT (especially in the UK & Europe), bullion sizes, and dealer spreads all impact your real buying and selling ratio.
