Cats, Coffee & Joyful Moments | Istanbul day 4 Cinematic

Day 4 was all about slowing down, wandering the streets, and letting the city surprise us with beautiful, unexpected moments. ☕✨ In the afternoon, we joined a workshop to learn how to make traditional Turkish coffee. We also learned how to read the fortunes left in the coffee cups. It was a surprisingly fun experience! The group was very small and international. There was only one other participant, who came from Uzbekistan, and our host was from Azerbaijan. It made for a very interesting mix of cultures around the table. After the workshop, we stopped to grab a sweet dessert and just spent the rest of the day wandering around at a relaxed pace. Then, a magical little moment happened. As we were walking, we ran into one of the two tiny kittens we had met on our very first day in Istanbul! It was so incredibly sweet to see it again and we named the kitten Xiaolongbao. We kept things very easy-going for the rest of the evening. We took a quiet walk back to our accommodation and had a simple dinner close to our neighborhood. A perfect, slow-paced day filled with coffee, cats, and unexpected joy.
