Let’s start with introducing your name: My name is Ibtisam = ismi Ibtisam اسمي ابتسام My name = ismi Name = isem The last I in ismi is for my. ismi ismi Ibtisam My name is Ibtisam By the way Ibtisam means smile, so you are getting Arabic lessons with a smile. When you’re asking others about their name. If you’re asking a male you say, shu ismak? Shu = what Ismak = your name (m) shu ismak? What’s your name? So, when you say a complement there’s always more than an answer to it.
