For nerds only! This is the 115th in a series of videos about sideband noise in oscillators, frequency multipliers, the components we use to build them as well as the tools used to measure sideband noise. Here I make improvements to my test system. The phase noise of the reference oscillators is reduced, particularly close to the carrier. The reference oscillators are also locked to a frequency shifted rubidium source for excellent long time stability.
