The V6 and diesel engines have been discontinued, but the new 2L engine performance offers great power and good fuel economy. The updated exterior styling and lighting plus the Improved interior materials, and additional storage make the Jaguar XE a contender in the German competitive set. For performance, the 296 hp 4-cylinder engine scoots from 0-60 seconds in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph. Fuel economy is 22 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. Pricing ranges from $39,900 - $46,295 depending on your preferences. Also new for 2020 is the new climate and infotainment systems with Apple Car Play and Android Auto which is a must in this segment. The infotainment system is slow to respond compared to other brands. The Jaguar XE offers sharp handling and steering performance that compares to others in the category.
