SIMULASI PAM MAKO POLRES PRINGSEWU

Pringsewu – A tense atmosphere enveloped the area in front of the Pringsewu Police Headquarters in the Regional Government Office Complex on Tuesday afternoon (April 14, 2026). A line of officers stood on alert, while a group of people approached, and the situation escalated, prompting tactical action from police personnel. However, the tension was not a real incident. The entire incident was part of a Command Headquarters Security System (Sispam Mako) simulation conducted by the Pringsewu Police to test their preparedness for various potential threats. The simulation, designed to closely mimic real-life conditions, included scenarios covering a variety of emergency situations, from violent demonstrations and terror threats to attempted infiltration of the headquarters. Personnel were required to respond quickly, measuredly, and in accordance with procedures to maintain security stability. The Head of Operations for the Pringsewu Police, AKP Minan, explained that this exercise was not merely routine but a strategic step to ensure readiness for the worst-case scenario. "This simulation is a form of anticipation for us in maintaining the security of our headquarters, assets, and personnel from various potential disturbances to public order and security and other threats," he said during the activity. Around 200 personnel, or two-thirds of the force, were deployed in the exercise. Interestingly, this activity also involved community elements, such as community organizations and online motorcycle taxi drivers, as part of an integrated security scenario. According to Minan, community involvement is crucial because regional security cannot rely solely on the police. Synergy between the police, government, and community elements is considered crucial in creating a conducive situation. This simulation also serves as a reminder that global dynamics and strategic issues can impact the region at all levels. Therefore, early preparedness is key. "This is a preventative measure so that we are always ready if at any time we face an emergency," he concluded. Through this exercise, the Pringsewu Police reaffirmed their commitment to continuously improving their professionalism and rapid response to maintain security and order in the Pringsewu area.
