When appearances can be deceiving. To the casual eye, the 2020 edition of the #Kawasaki #Z900 might seem identical to the old one. Because—details aside—the Zeta's physical features have remained identical: a muscular and pronounced fuel tank, a compact and sharp nose, and a slim, upward-swept tail. In reality, there are new features, but they're hidden. Because they concern the electronics. Four engine maps: Rain, Normal, Sport, plus a fully customizable one (via the new color TFT display, or via smartphone and the Rideology app), thanks to which you can adjust the traction control to three levels, or choose one of the engine's two power levels: full power or 55% of its capacity. The electronics, but not only that: the trellis frame has also been reinforced in the swingarm attachment area, resulting in a new suspension setup. The engine, however, remains unchanged, although the 948cc inline four-cylinder engine, producing 125 hp and 99 Nm, is no longer controlled by a traditional throttle, but by a more technologically advanced ride-by-wire system.
