#Trains #Railroads (10/4/25) Though a lot of people know me for my content in and around Atlanta, GA, Virginia is a very special state to me. Having worked there and explored the geography, I have seen firsthand how beautiful the scenery is. Despite me doing a lot of voyaging in my time up there, I still felt like I had not done enough when I eventually had to leave. And so when the opportunity presented itself, I took advantage to return to this state with a couple friends with a prize in mind: Norfolk Southern's Pocahontas District. It's not often that one finds a line with incredible scenery matched with consistent traffic, yet the "Pokey" is one of those lines, one I had failed to visit in my first run in Virginia but not one I was going to slide this time.
