Harder Kulm to Habkern with Dog 🇨🇭 | Scenic Swiss Alps Hike above Interlaken

Join Maui on a peaceful dog hike from Harder Kulm to Habkern, above Interlaken in the Swiss Alps. 🐾🇨🇭 This scenic Swiss hiking trail offers beautiful views of Lake Thun, Lake Brienz, Interlaken, forest paths, mountain farms and the alpine village of Habkern. After a little break, Maui and I are finally back on the trail. 🐾 In this peaceful Alpine Dog Walk, we start in Interlaken and take the funicular up to Harder Kulm. Maui enjoys the ride, and before the hike begins, we visit the panoramic viewing platform with beautiful views over Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and the surrounding mountains. From Harder Kulm, we follow the hiking trail towards Habkern. The route leads us through quiet forest paths, steep rooty sections and along scenic viewpoints, with beautiful glimpses of Lake Brienz, Interlaken, the surrounding valleys and the direction of the Augstmatthorn. The weather was lightly cloudy but very pleasant for hiking. Maui was happy on the trail, enjoying the forest, the mountain paths and even a refreshing little bath in a stream along the way. On the descent towards Habkern, we pass traditional Swiss farmhouses, a small pasture with goats and hear cheerful traditional Swiss music from a nearby celebration. We did not continue all the way to Augstmatthorn, but instead followed the trail down to Habkern, where we took the PostBus back to Interlaken. 📍 Route: Harder Kulm to Habkern 📍 Hiking time: around 3 hours 📍 Distance: approx. 12 km 📍 Filmed in Switzerland with Maui 🐾 Thank you so much for watching.
