History of Fingerboarding: The Fingerboarders Nobody Gives Credit To
I’ve seen a handful of accounts dedicated to fingerboard nostalgia. To me, these are some of my favorite accounts. Often these throwback accounts have a focus. Someone who started fingerboarding in 2015 will be nostalgic for product, and content from that time period. They serve an important role in archiving and remembering important people, events, and products of the past that helped shaped fingerboarding into what it is today. You may be wondering where I’m going with this. Well, today I wanted to highlight a number of fingerboarders from the yesteryear. Fingerboarders that made an impact in the early days of the online fingerboard scene. In today’s video, I’m going to narrow in on a time window of 2000 through 2006, as I notice there’s very little shared about this time period shared. Keep in mind that this will be narrowly focused around those fingerboarders active in the English speaking online fingerboard scene.
