DIY - Spark plug replacement Jimny 2023

This small Do It Yourself video shows how to replace the Stock Spark Plugs of the Jimny with the NGK Premuim RX Ruthenium spark plugs. NGK Ruthenium spark plugs claim to offer several advantages over stock spark plugs viz. better fuel efficieny, smoother engine, cooler running and exceptionally long life. The Jimny in India uses NGK DCPR6ERX-11P spark plugs which can be purchased from Amazon Japan or other online sources. Amazon Japan Link: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B... The tools needed are a Socket Wrench Set with 16MM Spark Plug Removal Socket and an ordinary 10MM Socket. Additionally, I have used a Titan Torque adapter set at 17.5 NM to accurately tighten the spark plugs. Tightening as per manufactured Torque is extremely important otherwise you can damage the engine head.
