It was a fulfilling trip, where I was able to explore Utsunomiya thoroughly and discover its hidden charms. This time, I departed from JR Utsunomiya Station and used the convenient "Otani Sightseeing One-Day Pass" to visit the city's famous sights. This pass included admission to the Otani Museum and Otani Kannon Temple, and unlimited bus rides within the designated area for just 2,000 yen, making it a great deal. Of course, I also enjoyed the gyoza! I visited popular local gyoza restaurants, sampling everything from classic gyoza to unique varieties.
