Tesla Model Y Juniper – Wrażenia z jazdy próbnej potencjalnego kupca

These are more like my personal thoughts after a test drive rather than a full review. I’m planning to switch to an electric car, and I started my test drives with the Tesla Model Y Juniper — both the Long Range RWD and the Long Range AWD versions. The day after, I tested the Xpeng G6 Performance, and I might post a video about that as well. I’m also planning to test drive the Zeekr 7X soon. I originally filmed this video as a kind of personal note — mostly for myself and a few friends — but later figured I might as well share it here on YouTube. Unfortunately, right at the end of the test drive, my camera battery died, so you won’t find my full summary in the video — I’m including it here in the description instead. I have to say, I really enjoyed driving the car. The things that impressed me the most were: the comfortable seats, the direct and responsive steering, the great visibility, the quiet cabin, and of course, the driving dynamics. The interior materials are of high quality overall. In general, I think the Model Y has made huge progress since 2020, when I drove the very first version. Back then, I thought it was one of the worst EVs I had experienced — the suspension was terrible, sound insulation was poor, and there were rattles and creaks everywhere — from the roof to the doors to the dashboard. With the Juniper update, things are much better. That said, in the LR AWD version, the dashboard was still making some concerning noises. I didn’t notice the same issue in the LR RWD, so it might have just been a one-off. As for the suspension — I personally wish it was a bit more comfortable. Things I didn’t like: The same monotonous interior design — still lacking any real finesse. The overall cabin just doesn’t feel very aesthetically pleasing to me. I also really missed a HUD (head-up display) — I constantly felt like I had to glance sideways at the large central screen too often. Conclusion: The Tesla Model Y Juniper is still on my list of potential EVs to buy, but before I decide, I want to test the Zeekr 7X and the new Xpeng G6, which is expected to arrive here in September.
