Northwest Bakersfield to Wasco via Shafter | Almond Orchards & Rural Kern County Drive

In this video, we leave Northwest Bakersfield on a sunny morning and head north along Santa Fe Way, passing through the agricultural landscape of rural Shafter before joining CA SR 43 into the city of Wasco. Along the way, we travel through miles of almond orchards, open farmland, and some of the most productive agricultural land in California's San Joaquin Valley. 0:00 Map & Flyover 0:17 Allen Road 1:32 Santa Fe Way 3:05 7th Standard Road 4:13 Riverside Street 5:53 Scaroni Avenue 7:27 California State Route 43 8:23 Entering Wasco, California 8:58 J Street 9:26 California State Route 46 Music: “I Could Threaten With A Good Time” by Icarus “Walk On The Beach’ by Lux Inspira “Chilean Seabass” by JAVA All Music is licensed through ArtList: https://artlist.io The high-speed aspect of this video is simply a post-production effect intended to give viewers a greater sense of the topography through which the drive is made.
