More footage along the ex-Soo Line main between Gladstone and the Soo from 1997 until 2001, just before the CN merger. Highlights include F Units on freights and operation of the unique bridges at the Soo ship canal on the US side. The double bascule is the largest in the world, and the vertical lift span is unique in having the counterweights on the outside of the towers. This was done to accommodate the bascule span counterweight when in the raised position as it nests into the vertical span tower.
