Trąd grzechu. Dlaczego Jezus czeka w konfesjonale? | Homilia ks. Paweł Pająk

Do you know what the Lord Jesus loves most? "Jesus does not abhor any of us; he always wants to cleanse and heal us." Discover why we need His touch so much and how to free ourselves from this greatest burden. 📖 In today's homily, Fr. Paweł Pająk recalls the dramatic story of the Babylonian captivity and King Zedekiah, showing the consequences of audacity and rejection of God. He contrasts this event with the shocking image of leprosy encountered by Jesus in the Gospel. 🔎 Leprosy is an image in Holy Scripture of grave sin, which causes a person to spiritually wither. However, unlike human diseases, Jesus' touch does not cause Him to become infected—it is His holiness and grace that pass on to us. God will never condone sin, knowing it leads to slavery and suffering, but He always awaits the sinner in the sacrament of penance and reconciliation. Free will means that we can say "no" to evil at any moment and return to the merciful Father. 💬 Important quotes: "God will never consent to sin. Sin always brings punishment, always slavery, always pain, misfortune." "Leprosy is the image of mortal sin. We are dead to heaven, decaying." "Sin always brings punishment, always slavery, always pain, misfortune, war, slavery." "Lord, if you will, you can cleanse me. Jesus says: I want, be cleansed." "Jesus has such a quality that when He touches something, it will be healed." "We always have free will. No matter how enslaved we may be by the evil Spirit, you can always say no." "The moment the priest pronounces the words of absolution, your soul is healed. Pure and holy." "You will bring the Lord Jesus the greatest joy when you break with sin and go to confession and return that sin to Him." "When you are in the light and close to Jesus, you see more." "I am merciful. I died for you. And I do not want you to waste the grace that I gave you and obtained for you on the cross."
