2014 Progressive International Motorcycle Show (Minneapolis) Slideshow

An audio-free slideshow of photos from the Progressive International Motorcycle Show on January 18, 2014 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN. Each year, Progressive Insurance sponsored multiple International Motorcycle Shows in cities around the country. In Minneapolis, the show was held indoors at the Minneapolis Convention Center in the middle of winter. You could see all the latest models of bikes from all the major motorcycle brands and could walk around and sit on them to get a feel for the differences, which was great if you were in the market for a new bike. In addition to all the new bikes, vintage and custom bikes were also featured and J&P Cycles organized an annual competition among the custom bikes. All years had a wide array of vendors, and most years had some sort of stunt show. The event was last held in Minneapolis in 2020, about a month before the pandemic, and it never returned. In some cities it changed to an outdoor event post-pandemic but that wouldn't work for Minneapolis in February. All photos were originally published on www.gophersandcheese.com
