POV | Neutrik EtherCon Connectors. Whats The Difference Between NE8MX-B & NE8MX6-B?

This video shows the difference between the Neutrik NE8MX-B cable carrier connector, and the Neutrik NE8MX6-B EtherCon. NE8MX-B: This connector is a cable carrier only. It does not include a RJ45 connector. The only items are the metal barrel, chuck strain relief plastic piece, and the threaded rear rubber boot. This is designed to use standard cat6 or cat5 network cables that care commonly available in stores. NE8MX6-B: This connector includes a integrated RJ45 connector. It is designed around tactical cat cables that have thicker diameters. This connector does not require special tools to crimp the RJ45 connector. A PCB with 2 small cartridges are included that slide into the RJ to provide connection. The connector is a little tricky to build, but gets easier once you get the hang of it. Thanks for watching!
