Mother’s Love: Bath Time and Mealtime | Milo the Little Hippo

Once upon a time, in a wide muddy river deep in the African savannah, lived a baby hippo named Milo. He was curious, clumsy, and loved to splash more than anything else. Every morning, Milo and his mama would bathe in the cool waters. Mama Hippo would gently nudge him into the river, and Milo would leap in with a big SPLASH!, scaring away a flock of birds but making the crocodiles giggle. After their bath, it was time to eat. Milo would munch on soft river grass while watching butterflies dance in the air. But today, he had a question. “Mama, why are we always in the water?” Mama smiled and said, “Because water keeps us cool, hides us from danger, and gives us time to be together.” Milo thought about that. Then he said, “So... water is our big hippo hug?” Mama chuckled. “Exactly, my little mudball.” And with that, Milo snuggled close, as the sun set and the river sparkled gold. It was just another beautiful day for a little hippo and his mama.
