They are also known as cremitas and berlinesas. I hope you'll be encouraged to make them and share your experience with me. Here's the ingredient list so you can get started š HERE'S THE RECIPEšš» š„Sweet Homemade Recipesš Filled Donuts Dough: 500g wheat flour (10-12g protein) 6g instant dried yeast (10g if using fresh yeast) 6g salt 100g sugar 150ml water 15ml vanilla extract 30g powdered milk 2 eggs 60g unsalted butter Chocolate Cream 600ml whole milk 160g semisweet chocolate 60g cornstarch Corn Sugar for sprinkling šIMPORTANT POINTS IN BREAD MAKING: *FLOUR: It must be 100% wheat flour that does not contain baking powder (NOT self-raising). The one I'm using contains 12g of protein. You can find this information on the back of the package, although you can use flour with 10, 11, or 12g of protein. I don't recommend flour with less than 10g, as it would be too refined, wouldn't absorb much liquid (it would be watery), and wouldn't develop the gluten properly, which is what gives bread its structure and makes it rise and become fluffy. TO DISSOLVE THE YEAST: Remember that we are working with a LIVING ORGANISM, and yeast is sensitive to certain temperatures. Use lukewarm milk, NOT HOT, so that when you dip your finger in it, it's tolerable and you DON'T burn yourself. If you want to use a thermometer, the temperature should be between 32 and 38 degrees Celsius (90 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit). If the water is too cold, the yeast won't activate. If the milk is too hot, the yeast will die. If this happens, the dough won't rise, and you'll end up with a dense, hard loaf. KNEADING: The kneading time will depend on your skill and experience. I usually take between 15 and 20 minutes to knead continuously. When I first started making bread, I used to take up to 45 minutes! So don't worry if it takes you a little longer. You might take more or less time. If it's your first time making bread, you might find it a bit tiring. If you don't have experience kneading, I suggest using the bulk kneading method; that is, knead for 10 minutes, then let it rest for 10 minutes until the dough develops gluten (becomes elastic and manageable). If we don't develop the gluten in our dough, the bread won't rise. Since carbon dioxide is generated during the resting period (which gives the dough volume), it needs a strong dough that can contain it so that it becomes fluffy when baked. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Bread making is a matter of practice, LOTS OF PRACTICE. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. It's normal š If you decide to try the recipes and want to share your photos, you can do so on my Facebook page. Here's the link š Ā Ā /Ā www.dulcehogarzkĀ Ā š“SUBSCRIBE!
