Round 1 of the Polish Motor Racing Championship in the R Sport Cup 🏆 | 3x P2 to start the season! The first round of the Polish Motor Racing Championship in the R Sport Cup is behind us! We kicked off our weekend on Thursday with the first practice sessions, which took place in very changeable conditions. It was wet and difficult, but the pace was really good from the start. Friday brought qualifying in extreme conditions—a heavy downpour, very poor visibility, and a fight for every meter of the track. Ultimately, we managed to finish qualifying in 2nd place 🥈, with a significant advantage over the rest of the field and a small gap to the leader. On Saturday, we started the first race from second place. After a strong pace and consistent driving, the leader and I pulled away from the rest of the field, finishing the race with a lead of almost 15 seconds over third place. Result: P2 🥈 Sunday was the most demanding day of the entire weekend. Two races, a lot of fighting, contact, folded mirrors, and battered cars. Despite the geometry issues in my MINI, I managed to finish both races in 2nd place 🥈🥈 We finished the weekend with three P2 finishes, a good number of points, and second place overall.
