Kunimasa, who has been involved in suspension development for many years, has created an entirely new shock absorber that differs from the traditional method using disc valves. We installed the prototype on the rear wheels of a Jimny with the "six dampers" that I posted about in a video about two years ago. It should feel a little stiffer on regular roads, but the effect should be even more noticeable on the highway. I wondered if Imamura would understand this. That was the original intention, but before I knew it, we were talking about stock vs. tuning, how a car feels, tinkering with cars, and more. It's an honor to be able to share with you the valuable stories of Kunimasa, a true engineer. I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to listen to everything he had to say by myself, so I invited Mori Keita (@moriketa) to join us, and it brought me to tears.
