Leveraging Investments with Social Impact: Financing for Social Protection

This webinar showcased practical experiences of linking social protection to investment planning, and prioritization, drawing on examples from Senegal and Uzbekistan, and perspectives from key financing and development actors, including the European Commission and the Asian Development Bank. By bringing together country experiences and financing partners’ perspectives, the webinar highlighted the importance of integrating social protection into investment strategies and economic policy. This was the sixth and last session of the "Building Social Protection Floors for All: Key achievements and future priorities of the ILO’s Flagship Programme" series. Organised by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and with financial support from Luxembourg and Belgium, the series intends to reflect on achievements, lessons learned, and emerging priorities, while fostering dialogue on the future strategic orientations of the Global Flagship Programme on Building Social Protection Floors for All.
