What About Divorce

In this message from Matthew 19:1-12, we explore Jesus’ teaching on marriage, divorce, and God’s design for relationships. In a culture that often allows opinions, traditions, and personal experiences to define truth, Jesus calls us back to God’s original intent. This message highlights several key truths: • Hard topics may be uncomfortable, but God’s Word is always for our good. • Truth does not change based on culture, public opinion, or personal preference. • Marriage is more than a contract—it is a covenant designed by God. • Tradition and culture should not define us; God’s Word should. • God’s goal is not simply happiness, but holiness and transformation. • Even in brokenness, failure, and difficult circumstances, the cross offers hope, forgiveness, reconciliation, and redemption. • Jesus doesn’t minimize sin, but He also doesn’t leave us in our sin. He points us toward grace, restoration, and a deeper relationship with Him. Whether you are married, single, divorced, or walking through relational challenges, this message is a reminder that God sees your story, cares about your future, and offers hope through Jesus Christ.
