Bacoa is a renowned farm-to-table restaurant located in Juncos, Puerto Rico, celebrated for its dedication to sustainability and local cuisine - (normally) only about an hour drive from Old San Juan, and less than an hour from Liquillo Beach (near El Yunque). Founded by friends Chef Raúl Correa, Xavier Pacheco and René Marichal, Bacoa takes its name from a traditional Puerto Rican farming practice, signifying a deep connection to the land. The restaurant emphasizes fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, many of which are grown on the property itself or sourced from nearby farmers.
