Hello everyone, we are Sabine and Jürgen and we are traveling with our truck, ZEUS, from Germany to Southeast Asia. In our first video, we're from the country we were most warned about by everyone around us: IRAN! We set off this morning for the Iranian border and are very impressed by the friendliness of the border guards on the Iranian side. After some time, we finally enter this mysterious country. We're already incredibly happy to have made it, as this border crossing is described as not being easy. The first few kilometers on the roads reveal an incredible landscape, unlike anything we've ever seen in other countries. Our first campsite is at a salt lake called Lake Urmia. We immediately meet two families there, whom we will visit at their homes later in our journey. From there, we drive to the first major city, Tabriz. We explore the area and the bazaar with a nice young man named Erfan. We also meet the wonderful Ali, who has his own story to tell.
