Full Concert: N.E.R.D. (2002) live at Paradiso Amsterdam | The Music Factory

N.E.R.D. (No-one Ever Really Dies) initially began as The Neptunes, a rap group formed in 1989 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Signed by Teddy Riley to Virgin, The Neptunes transitioned into a band in 1999. Their debut album, "In Search Of...", achieved Gold status in the U.S. with 603,000 copies sold, earning the band recognition with the Shortlist Music Prize. "Fly or Die," their second album, also went Gold. After leaving Virgin in 2005, N.E.R.D. reformed under Star Trak Entertainment in 2008, releasing "Seeing Sounds" and "Nothing" in subsequent years. Following a hiatus after their 2010 album, N.E.R.D. returned in 2017 with the album "No One Ever Really Dies." The album featured collaborations with artists like Kendrick Lamar, André 3000, M.I.A., and Rihanna. The group's roots trace back to childhood friendships between Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, Shay Haley, and Mike Etheridge, with their musical journey evolving from high school performances to production work and ultimately forming N.E.R.D. in 1999.
