Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum • Quarry Train Ride • Lake District
Old Diggers galore! Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum has been open to the public for many years and, over time, has evolved and adapted. Based at an old quarry, which had it’s own local little railway linked to the now-disused Penrith to Keswick Railway, there are lots of old diggers, dumper trucks, and little railway outside and an informative museum inside. My wife and I take a look around, and enjoy a ride on the train. Please consider SUBSCRIBING to my channel, if you haven’t done so yet. Thanks for watching, and, bye for now.
