Basic Wrist Warm-up
This is a basic yet very efficient routine to implement into your training to warm-up your wrists. I used to really need wrist guards when tumbling, vaulting, handbalancing,... However, since I started doing this routine on a regular basis, I was able to eliminate the need for extra wrist support, allowing me to feel the ground or canes a lot better during handbalancing and avoiding sore wrists after long trainings. Whether it's ground based acrobatics or specific aerial disciplines, this warm-up primes your wrists to function at odd or uncomfortable angles (ie. Manna on the floor, planches, el-grip on pole or highbar, to name a few). Scale this to your own level, start on the knees if you're uncertain and progress to the more challenging variations over time.
