Iedereen rijdt met koffers… maar ik niet

Everyone rides with panniers on a motorcycle trip… but the longer I look at it, the less logical it feels. Especially on a lightweight motorcycle like the CFMOTO 450MT. For years, I rode with aluminum panniers on various bikes, from a Suzuki V-Strom to a BMW GS Adventure. That worked well, until it started to feel wrong. The weight, the cost, and above all, the feeling that it no longer fits a lightweight motorcycle like the CFMOTO 450MT. I started looking at soft motorcycle bags again. In this case, Rhinowalk soft luggage. Affordable, simple, and without large frames or expensive systems. But for me, it’s not just about panniers vs. bags. It’s about weight, balance on the bike, safety if you fall, and how compact you keep everything. Especially when compared to systems from Mosko Moto, Giant Loop, or Touratech. I am preparing for a longer motorcycle trip to Norway. This video is part of that preparation. And the longer I work on this, the clearer it becomes that it’s not about how much you take with you, but about how you travel. Light, simple, and with as little baggage as possible. Curious how that trip ultimately unfolds? Watch the complete Norway series here:    • Rijd mee naar het noorden   The bags I use are from Rhinowalk.
