There are so many ways to make work easier...when I put together an improvement, I always ask myself, "How did I do things before?" It's about getting organized, and then continuing to work more efficiently. In this case, the router bit organizer eliminates the need to bend down and take them out of a drawer. I just turn around, take one out, and put the other away. I think that in just one afternoon of using the router table, I've already made up for the time invested in building it. It's always amazing when I add an enhancement to my shop that I look back and say, "How did I do this in the past?" There's such a huge efficiency gain with having the router bits at eye level, close to the router table. I honestly think that after an afternoon of using the router table, the time saved more than compensates for the time invested. This cabinet has glass doors to protect it from dust, and it looks nice.
