Carbon Fiber Surfboard Glassing PART 3 Time-Lapse | Laminating the top | Using Vacuum Bag!

I am very excited about this new project, this is the first time I am building a full carbon surfboard using the vacuum bag technique. This board should be super light, strong, responsive, and durable but also very expensive, when I am done building this board I will let you know about the costs and the pros and cons. This is a performance shortboard, 6'2 X 20" X 2 5/8" with 3LB core, the next one will be a 2LB core that will be even lighter. In this video I am laminating the top of the board, I should spend more time with the peel-ply to have a better surface on the board I ended up with a much better result as I had a better vacuum. up next - hot-cote, sanding, and finishing touches!
