Tajikistan - Fann mountains - trek around Chimtarga

After a week-long acclimatization around Iskanderkul lake, which was shown in the part 1, we continue our trek around Chimtarga peak, the highest peak of Fann mountains in the north-west part of Tajikistan. In this multiday trek we walk over 3 passes: Dvoynoy, Chimtarga (the highest pass at 4740m) and Alauddin, and we walk by several beautiful lakes, including the most famous, deeply blue Alauddin lakes. We finish in Artuch village, from where we continue to Samarkand in Uzbekistan, which is shown in part 3.
