I bought 4 10" wheels and tires and turned my chicken coop into a truck of sorts. My initial idea was to use two hand trucks and strap them to the back of the coop so I could then use the tractor to lift the front. I then used a single hand truck to test the theory and while I could see I was on the right path, the idea definitely needed to be modified. Instead of two hand trucks (sometimes called dollies) I bought 4 wheels and tires and bolted them directly to the rear of the coop. Then the tractor did the rest. It worked. The family and I bought chickens for the homestead and boy has it been a learning experience so far. But, that's exactly what we wanted. Experiences like this are worth their weight in gold.
