Rossnowlagh Return 12th July 2026 Parade, County Donegal, Ireland

#RossnowlaghParade #12thJuly #OrangeOrder The 12th of July Orange Parade in Rossnowlagh is unique; it’s the only Orange Parade held in the Republic of Ireland, drawing Lodges and Bands from across Northern Ireland who travel over the border to take part. The seaside village becomes a vibrant, sun‑soaked gathering point for thousands of spectators and participants. This year’s parade took place in intense heat with very little breeze, so I had to keep Luna in the shade as much as possible. That meant I couldn’t move around the route as freely as usual, but I still focused on capturing the full procession of Lodge members, their banners, and the wide variety of bands taking part in the main parade. The first video of the day documents the full march along the main route, giving a clear look at the Lodges, the atmosphere, and the scale of the event. This second video shifts the focus to the Field, where bands gather, tune up, and prepare for the return parade. This part of the day has a completely different energy, more relaxed, more personal, and full of great moments as the musicians get ready to step off again. This Video complements the first video perfectly: one shows the formal procession, the other shows the band culture and preparation that makes Rossnowlagh special.
