Striped Bass Fishing during the spawning run can be some of the most incredible fishing you’ve ever seen, but there are some precautions to take. I highly recommend using a barbless hook even when it isn’t required by law. In this video we fish the Roanoke river where a barb less hook is indeed required. You can catch Striped Bass on the entire stretch of river in the spring, but this river can be very dangerous depending on the water levels.
