Replacing a Rotting Timber Retaining Wall
Here I remove an old failing timber retaining wall and deck and replace it with tailings to support the upper yard from caving in. This is much like the a previous job I did to expand a backyard space ( • Lifting a Backyard 6 Feet to make a Flat Lawn ). Overall it came out really nice and the homeowner was very happy not having to pay for an entire new retaining wall!
